Adsyn32 (additive harmonic synthesis for windows). Generates audio waveforms by adding simple components together, usually sine-waves of related frequencies, known as partials. With careful control of the partials amplitude envelopes, it is possible to create dynamic sounds of great subtlety. It's not easy and it takes time to see results, in comparison with modern sampled wavetable methods but might be of interest to some.

Replaces the microsoft cdfs.vxd (compact disc file system). After installing the file, cda files will appear as wav files. You can use any wav to mp3 converter to convert the cda file directly from audio cd to mp3 (or other compressed format) without having first to extract it to hard disk. Saves a lot of space on hard disk and makes the conversion quicker. This driver will work with some cd drives, but not others.
